Our Collaborative Approach
IDRASTICC's success is built on strong partnerships with organizations that share our commitment to disaster preparedness and community resilience.

Youth4Climate
Youth4Climate, an initiative co-led by UNDP and the Italian Ministry of Environment, provided crucial funding support that made IDRASTICC possible. As a Youth4Climate awardee, IDRASTICC demonstrates how youth-led initiatives can transform communities and build climate resilience.

Civil Defense of San Pedro de Macorís
The Civil Defense played an essential role in implementing IDRASTICC, providing transportation support and expert volunteers who helped facilitate our Disaster Prevention Morning sessions. Their knowledge of local hazards and emergency procedures added invaluable depth to our educational content.

Fire Department of San Pedro de Macorís
Firefighters from the San Pedro de Macorís Fire Department volunteered their time and expertise to demonstrate safety procedures and share real-world experiences with students. Their participation brought credibility and practical knowledge to our sessions.

School District of San Pedro de Macorís
The local school district supported IDRASTICC by helping us identify participating schools, validating our educational approach, and facilitating communication with school principals. Their endorsement was crucial for gaining the trust of school communities.
Participating Schools
